Grove Zero - Ultrasonic Sensor
• What is it？
The Ultrasonic Sensor measures the distance(in cm) of the object in front of it.
• How it works？
The Ultrasonic Sensor contains a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter converts electrical signals into ultrasound, the receiver converts received ultrasound into electrical signals.
By measuring the time between sending a signal and receiving an echo, the distance between the object and the sensor can be calculated.
The normal detecting ranges from 3cm to 350cm with a 2cm resolution.
